(Tuesday)
For the second day after Chinese New Year, we didn't do much. I was slacking off back at home, when my best friend Gerald came. As a full-time GTA fan, he wanted to try out the 4th edition. He had quite alot of fun, explaining about how realistic the game was, like how ppl died when they got ran over the car, which was what he did to pedestrians.
He left at about 12pm. I ate lunch and continued to play for another hour or so, most likely 2 I guess. Soon afterwards, I left for a housewarming party. This time, the family lived at a condominiums. It is called Yong An Park. That is for the very rich, and the building was around for quite a long time too, not to mention he lived at a penthouse on the highest 25th floor of Tembusu Towers.
Though his house wasn't tens of thousands of square feet, I must say it is somehow more relaxing than the large house I visited yesterday. The smaller house was at least more cozy, and you wouldn't need to fret over travelling a long distance just to find someone.
As monks whom we were acquainted to, as we were in their association, asked us to follow them to a house to pray for them, we followed. Apparently, due to some unforeseen reason, very few people turned up at these housewarming sessions, and they needed a number of people to follow to help them pray.
Luckily, the house was just a stone's throw away from mine. Okay, I'm exaggerating. It was quite deep into the small roads. We prayed and sticked around till 8pm. We then returned home, and the whole family went to watching "The Wedding Game".
For the third time, I booked the wrong cinema for The Cathay and we had to exit the car park and go to the Orchard cineplexes. Truthfully, Cathay should allow us to choose our cinema's first, so as to prevent these problems.
The movie was quite funny, but it was part drama and part comedy, however, my brother and aunt's said that it wasn't that nice. The part I liked most was when Fann Wong held a fake red hand, and all the fingers were down except for the thumb and the middle finger, which she pointed at Christopher Lee. Haha!
Well that's it for today. By the way, I saw an actress from Little Nonya yesterday. She was a friend of the owner of the large house. Her name is Lin Mei Jiao. Here's a picture!
